Mold Removal & Cleaning
in Central Florida

Mold removal and remediation performed to IICRC S520 standards — containment, HEPA filtration and verified cleanup.

What It Is

IICRC S520-guided mold removal and specialty cleaning.

Mold removal isn't wiping down a wall with bleach. Done correctly, remediation isolates the affected area with plastic containment, runs negative air pressure with HEPA-filtered air scrubbers, removes contaminated materials, HEPA-vacuums and damp-wipes every surface, and finishes with independent clearance testing to prove the job worked. That's IICRC S520 — the industry standard we follow on every remediation. Note that Florida Statute § 468.8419 does not allow us to remediate a property we assessed: we perform remediation on properties where the mold assessment was done by an independent company, and we'll always tell you up front which service we can provide.

What you get when you book mold removal & cleaning with us.

01

HEPA Air Scrubbing

Commercial-grade HEPA air scrubbers filter spores from the work area continuously through the entire remediation.

We recommend and coordinate independent clearance testing so you have documented proof the work was done right.

Post-remediation clearance testing to confirm spore counts are back to baseline. Documented in a written report.

FAQ — Mold Removal & Cleaning

Answers to what
homeowners ask most.

How much does mold remediation cost?+

Every job is quoted individually based on square footage, contamination class and materials involved. Quotes are always free — call us and we'll come look.

Can I stay in my home during remediation?+

Usually yes, if containment isolates the work area from living space. For extensive remediation or sensitive occupants, temporary relocation is safer. We'll advise honestly.

Does bleach kill mold?+

Bleach kills mold on non-porous surfaces but does not penetrate drywall, wood or grout — where mold roots grow. Proper remediation removes the substrate, not just the surface stain.

Can Florida Mold Services do my assessment and my remediation?+

No — Florida Statute § 468.8419 prohibits any company from performing a mold assessment and the mold remediation on the same property. We offer both services, but only separately. If an independent assessor tested your property, we can handle the remediation; if we tested it, we'll refer you to a licensed remediator we trust.
